Is the July 2026 R&E deadline still open?

The general deadline in IRS — Internal Revenue Bulletin 2025-38: Revenue Procedure 2025-28 was 6 July 2026 and is past at this report’s date. A specialist must assess any remaining procedure or applicable relief; this report does not establish an extension.

Must a domestic US company still file BOI?

The federal final rule exempts US companies and persons, while certain foreign entities remain subject to reporting. Use Treasury — FinCEN permanently ends US beneficial ownership reporting, 11 August 2026 for the current federal position and review other obligations separately.

Does 100% bonus depreciation mean a full cash refund?

No: it concerns deduction timing for eligible property, not reimbursement of the purchase. IRS — IR-2026-06: Additional first-year depreciation guidance, 14 January 2026 is the authority starting point; the adviser must model the actual tax and cash effect.

Can we postpone Roth catch-up changes until 2027?

Do not infer that from the regulations’ general applicability date. The 2026 threshold and statutory operation must be reconciled with the final rules by the plan administrator; see IRS — Internal Revenue Bulletin 2025-49: 2026 retirement limits and IRS — Internal Revenue Bulletin 2025-40: Catch-up final regulations.

Does this cover every state?

No: the retrieved federal sources do not establish state conformity or local obligations. Ask for a state-by-state addendum to any model relying on IRS — Publication 334 (2025), Tax Guide for Small Business or other federal guidance.
